Regulations on the work of the Assembly

The Assembly is the highest body of FBBFK, where member clubs decide on the Federation’s policy. These regulations set out how the Assembly is prepared and convened, how sessions are chaired, how decisions are adopted and how minutes are kept. They were adopted by the members of the Assembly in March 2023.

The regulations are of interest above all to member clubs, whose representatives take part and vote in the Assembly.

What it contains

  • Main tasks: preparing and convening the Assembly, chairing meetings, adopting decisions, providing information and keeping minutes.
  • The regulations the Assembly adopts itself: on the work of the Assembly, of the Supervisory Council and of the Executive Board.
  • Participants: members of the Assembly, representatives of sports institutions and of the Olympic Committee of Kosovo, guests and the media; a session may also be held behind closed doors.
  • Preparation of sessions by the President and the Secretary General, with materials reviewed by the Board.
  • The agenda: proposed by the President after approval by the Board; members may add to it, and the Assembly adopts it at the session.
  • Convening the Assembly on the initiative of the President or of members; an extraordinary Assembly requires two-thirds of the members with voting rights.
  • A written invitation, with the date, time, place and proposed agenda.
  • Chairing of the session by the President, and measures to maintain order.
  • Quorum: more than half of the members (50% + 1).
  • The length of the session and of debates, and entry into force.

For clubs and athletes

  • Every member of the Assembly has the right to propose additions to the agenda, giving reasons for the proposal.
  • The regulations may be amended only by the Assembly.
